How this list is made
Every field below was read from the cattery's own public website on the snapshot date. Fields the cattery does not publish are recorded as not_stated rather than guessed or filled from third-party directories.
Where the information comes from
Each entry was built by reading the cattery's own public website and recording what it says. Every entry lists the exact pages read and the date they were read, currently 2026-07-27. We do not copy fields from directory sites, aggregators or social posts, because those are frequently out of date and their errors propagate.
Why so many fields say nothing
When a cattery does not publish something, this list records that rather than filling the gap. It is tempting to infer, and inference is exactly how directories end up confidently wrong. A cattery that does not mention HCM testing may well test its cats thoroughly and simply not have written it down. What we can honestly report is that we found no public statement, which tells you what to ask.
What we do not do
- We do not visit catteries or inspect their premises.
- We do not verify health test results, only whether testing is claimed publicly.
- We do not rank, score or recommend. There is no best on this site.
- We do not broker kittens, take commission, or pass your details to anyone.
- We do not accept payment for inclusion, position or removal.
Money
This site currently makes no money. There are no ads, no affiliate links and no paid listings. If that ever changes, any paid placement will be labelled as paid on the page it appears on, every time, and this section will say so before it happens rather than after.
Corrections and removal
If you run one of these catteries and something here is wrong, out of date, or missing, email [email protected] and it will be fixed at no cost. That includes adding health testing or pricing you do publish but we failed to find, which is the most likely kind of error in a list built this way.
Removal is also free and needs no justification. Ask and the entry comes down. We would rather have a shorter accurate list than a longer contested one.
Coverage
This list currently holds 7 catteries and is not claimed to be complete. North Carolina certainly has Ragdoll breeders who do not maintain a website, and those are invisible to a method built on reading websites. If you know of one, the same email address works.
Photographs
The Ragdoll photographs on this site come from Wikimedia Commons under the licences named in the footer, and they illustrate the breed. They are not photographs of any cattery listed here, and none of them show a kitten that is for sale. We will not use a cattery's own photographs without asking.
